THOURIOS. Long‑range one‑way attack UAS. Designed and built in Greece.
Hawk Labs is a Greek defence technology startup with a single focus: THOURIOS, a low-cost, long-range unmanned aircraft for stand-off strike.
Prototype in build. First flight targeted Q4 2026.
One product. A clear mission: affordable long-range strike.
THOURIOS is a delta-wing, propeller-driven one-way attack aircraft: the class of system that has redefined the economics of deep strike in recent conflicts. It exists to give the Hellenic Armed Forces, and allied forces, a stand-off strike capability that can be procured in numbers.
The design brief is deliberately narrow. No modularity for its own sake, no mission creep: an airframe cheap enough to be expendable, simple enough to be produced domestically at rate, and accurate enough to matter.
Deep-strike reach
Stand-off engagement of fixed targets well beyond the front line, cruising at low altitude on an efficient piston powerplant.
Priced to be expendable
Unit cost is a primary design requirement, not an afterthought. Commercial components are used wherever they meet the mission, and nowhere they don't.
Built for series manufacture
A simple airframe with few moving parts, designed from day one for rate production with Greek and EU industrial partners.
Made for contested airspace
Guidance and navigation are being developed for GNSS-degraded and jammed environments, where satellite positioning cannot be taken for granted.
Figures shown are design targets. Detailed specifications are disclosed to qualified government stakeholders on request.
Where the program stands.
We publish our development phase openly and keep it current. Photography and performance data will be released as the aircraft moves through test.

How we work.
Cost is a specification
A strike aircraft that is too expensive to lose is the wrong aircraft. Every part, process and supplier is chosen against a target unit cost, because in this class of system quantity is the capability.
Domestic by design
THOURIOS is engineered in Greece around a Greek and EU supply chain. The first prototype integrates qualified commercial subsystems to compress the path to flight; domestic content increases with each build standard. The goal is sovereign production of a critical munition class.
Hardware first
A small engineering team building, testing and revising real hardware on short cycles. We would rather show a flying prototype than a hundred-page study.
An early-stage company with a narrow mandate.
Hawk Labs is a Greek defence technology startup; incorporation is in progress. Its sole activity is the development of the THOURIOS unmanned aircraft system and its supporting production capability.
We keep this page deliberately factual. As the program clears milestones (prototype roll-out, first flight, demonstration), they will be reflected here.
